Arthur Gustav Gehrke 1911 - 1985

Arthur Gustav Gehrke of Herington, Dickinson County, Kansas was born on February 18, 1911 in Ramona, Dickinson Co County to Carl John August Gehrke and Sophia Frederika (Bruckner) Gehrke. Arthur Gehrke had siblings Paul Edward Gehrke, Oscar Lewis Gehrke, Harvey Herman Gehrke, Edwin Bernard Gehrke, Lowell E Gehrke, Leland Carl Gehrke, Lowell Eugene Gehrke, and Juanita Sophia (Gehrke) Tousignant. He married Clara Emma (Winkleman) Gehrke on June 22, 1939 in Keith Co Courthouse County, NE and they later divorced. He would also marry Louise Ethel (Schmidt) Gehrke on April 20, 1950 in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri United States. They had children Deborah Christine Gehrke and Carl John Gehrke. Arthur Gehrke died at age 74 years old on July 29, 1985 in Marion, Marion Co County, KS, and was buried on August 1, 1985 at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Herington, Dickinson Co County.
