    Lucy was born in September 24 1837 to an unwed mother Ann Worton in a Work House (a workhouse is a place where those unable to support financially themselves are given work and accommodation and employment, by what l have been told they where a bad place to be, her mother and grandmother Charlotte were both there) in Basford, Nottinghamshire. Lucy married Rupert Budworth on the 16th July 1854 in Nottingham, they came to Australia in 1855 their son Rupert Edwin Budworth was born 3rd November 1855 he later passed away in September 9th 1858 Their daughter Amelia was born April 19 1858 who became my Great Grandmother. It was around this time that Rupert left and Lucy later lived with Charles Harcoan she ended up having a further 10 children
