Lula Eva (Chambers) Bradley 1885 - 1947

Lula Eva (Chambers) Bradley was born in 1885 to Benjamin Walker Chambers and Emma Elizabeth (Shield) Chambers, and had a sister Ruby Emma (Chambers) Downie. She married Jesse Bradley, and they were married until death separated them. She had children Benjamin James Bradley, Verna Muriel (Bradley) Gunning, Walter Bradley, and Eva Wilson. Lula Bradley died at age 61 years old on July 18, 1947 in Sandringham, Bayside City County, VIC Australia, and was buried at Brighton General Cemetery, in Caulfield South, City of Glen Eira County.

  • Introduction

    The Herald. Melbourne. 11th January 1892. It will be remembered that a Windsor shopkeeper, named Carter Godfrey, was recently charged with an indecent assault upon a child, named Lula Eva Chambers. The latest development of the case is that the mother of the child, and a material witness in the case, has developed symptoms of madness to such an extent as to warrant her removal to the Kew Lunatic Asylum.
