Miss Macy Brooks Putnam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wilson Putnam, Lawrence, L. I. to Jervis Spencer Janney Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Janney, Cincinnati, Ohio. The Rev J. Reginald Moodey, the rector, officiated. There was a lartge reception at the Rockaway Hunting club, Cedarhurst, LI, afterward. Mrs. Janney was graduated from the Garrison Forest school, Baltimore MD; Bennett Junior college, Millbrook; and in 1956 from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York City. She was introduced to society by her parents at a dinner=dance on September 3, 1952, at the Lawrence Beach club and later that year was a member of the New York Junior Assemblies. After a trip, the couple will live temporarily at Fort Sill, Okla, where the bridegroom will be stationed with the Army.
