Mae S. Bacon Fitzgerald
I have an old studio photograph of Mae S. BACON which was taken at the W. T. Worthington Studio in San Francisco, CA in the 1870's or 1880's. Mae appears to be about 3 years old at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Mae and her family:

Mae BACON was b. 11 Apr 1876 in Modoc County, CA to parents William or Williamson Augustus BACON (b. 1847) and Frances Ann WILLIAMS (1851-1928) who were married 8 Jun 1875 in Shasta County, CA. Mae was one of 9 children born to this couple including Laura; Mae S.; Ilah; John; Richard Arthur; Mildred K.; Grace Ione; Lela F.; and Alyn Rankin BACON, all born between 1875 and 1897. Mae married John Bridgeford “J. B.” FITZGERALD (1859-1941) in 1901 and they had a son, Gerald Francis FITZGERALD (1905-1977). Mae died 15 Feb 1973 in Elko, NV and she is buried in the Masonic Cemetery in that city.
