He married Emily Hardgige Adams, and had children Walter Samuel Adams, Arthur Adams, Mabel Adams, Annie Adams, Alice Elsie Adams, Maud Adams, Bertha Adams, Eliza Edith Adams, Frank Adams, and Harold Adams. Mark Adams died at age 75 years old on January 13, 1921 in Croydon, and was buried at Box Hill Cemetery in Box Hill.
