Mary Jane Grant (Cribbins) Greaves was born on July 29, 1839 in Ramsgate, Kent County, England United Kingdom to Mary (Grant) Cribbins and John Cribbins, and had siblings Henry Thomas Cribbins, Charles Cribbins, and William Cribbins. She married Thomas Greaves, and had children Thomas Charles Grieves, Henry Greaves, Annie Maria (Greaves) Ferguson, Ellen Rebecca (Greaves) Chapple, Frederick Clement Greaves, Flora Louisa (Greaves) Wrigglesworth, Alfred John Greaves, Minnie Clara (Greaves) Wall, Rose Blanche (Greaves) Goodwin, Ethel (Greaves) Clugston, and William Edward Greaves. Mary Greaves died at age 71 years old on February 12, 1911 in Toongabbie, VIC Australia, and was buried at Toongabbie Cemetery in Toongabbie, Latrobe City County.
