Nancy Salmon
Mary Salmon 1772-1796
Mary Salmon was the daughter of John Salmon Sr. & Susannah.Her father was so upset with her, that when she got married he wouldn't sign his name as a Witt. to their marriage in Halifax Co Va. Because she was with child before she got married, I think this upset John so much. She married John McEntire who wasn't a very nice person at all, She passed away 23 years young when she passed away, maybe during child birth, because they had two children, and I am sure were having another one, and she must have passed away.
John McEntire remarried, and that wasn't a good thing. One day they took the children to see the Salmon's, well they noted that the boy had burned ears, the step mother was taking them and burning their ears for punishment for being boys, the Salmon's didn't like this at all, they got into a fight and the Salmon's won, they took the two children of Mary's away from them.
