She had siblings Jessie Hasthorpe Cooper, Susan Hasthorpe, Esther Ellen Hasthorpe, Reginald Murray Hasthorpe, Joseph Samuel Hasthorpe, Milton Hasthorpe, Victoria Lydia May Hasthorpe, Arthur John Hasthorpe, Emily (Hasthorpe) Logan, John Jesse Hasthorpe, and George William Harvey Hasthorpe. She married Albert Barton Griffin, and had children Jean Victoria Griffin, May Queen Griffin, Albert Gordon Griffin, and Flora Annie Griffin. May Griffin died at age 87 years old on January 15, 1978 in Westbury.
