She had siblings Jessie Hasthorpe Cooper, Esther Ellen Hasthorpe, Reginald Murray Hasthorpe, Joseph Samuel Hasthorpe, Milton Hasthorpe, Victoria Lydia May Hasthorpe, Arthur John Hasthorpe, Emily (Hasthorpe) Logan, John Jesse Hasthorpe, May Queen Victoria (Hasthorpe) Griffin, and George William Harvey Hasthorpe. Susan Hasthorpe died at age 5 years old on June 11, 1877.
