I can remember sitting on the porch swing at night fall with my daddy. We would swing for what seemed like forever. I would lay down next to him with my head on his knee, and he would play with hair and tell me stories until I fell asleep. But, when early summer came around, we would sit on the swing and watch the lightning bugs light up all around us. He would point them out for me to go and catch and help me put them in jars until I had enough to release. He was an amazing dad, and he always will be. Not a day goes by where I don't think about all of the happy memories I have of him.
