Every Garden A Munitions Plant
Every Garden A Munitions Plant
Mrs. Frank P. Brown won a 1st place for her canned vegetables during WWI. And I'm sure her vegetables were impressive. But what I really love is the poster next to her: "Sow the seeds of Victory . . . plant and raise your own vegetables . . . Every garden a munition plant."

What a way to sell a victory garden and the hot hours and hard work of canning!
