Nathan Clifford Brown
Nathan Clifford Brown was the founder of the American Ornithologists' Union. He was born in Portland Maine October 13 1856 and died in Atlantic City New Jersey March 20, 1941.
Because Nathan was often ill as a child, he became interested in watching the birds on his parent's vast lands. This lead to a life long interest in bird watching.
