Nathan Riddle was born in 1856 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia United States to Nathaniel P Riddle and Permelia (Motley) Riddle, and had siblings John William Riddle, Martha E (Riddle) Giles, Edward Joseph Riddle, Thomas Samuel Riddle, James P Riddle, Sarah "Sallie" Ann Riddle, Nathaniel Bragg Riddle, and Columbia Riddle. Nathan Riddle died in July 1857 at Bearskin, in Pittsylvania County.
