Hello, just been doing a bit of a marathon in the FamilySearch site, mostly English censuses, & National LIbrary of Australia's Trove site (plus some online cemetery searches) here's a summary of what I've found.
Nellie Violet GREEN married Francis Henry STAPLETON 1908 in Bristol, Gloucestershire.
Children : Bernice Muriel STAPLETON born 31st Dec1908 in Bristol (married Donald William MAY in Melbourne, Australia) ; Jack D STAPLETON born 1912 (may have died young) ; and Russell Kenneth STAPLETON born 5 June 1919 (where?) died 6 September 2003 buried Bright Cemetery, Victoria, Australia ; he married Dorothy (Dee) DOWLING 21st May 1949 in Melbourne, Australia and had twin boys Ian & Malcolm on 6 Oct 1950.
Francis Henry STAPLETON was born 1889 in Bristol, parents Robert T STAPLETON (a pork butcher & curer) of Rainham, Norfolk, and Alice WILLIAMS of Bristol. Francis Henry died 8 Nov 1948 in Melbourne, I think he was a furniture manufacturer.
He had siblings : Frederick Robert STAPLETON who married Florence G JONES 1912 Bristol ; Florence Mary STAPLETON born 1884 Bristol, died 1956 Melbourne ; Gilbert J STAPLETON born 1880 Bristol.
Their parents were Robert STAPLETON, an agricultural labourer of West Raynham, Norfolk and Mary Ann YOUNG of East Rainham, Norfolk married there 1857, raised their family at Helhoughton, Norfolk
Robert's parents were William STAPLETON a bricklayer from Helhoughton, Norfolk and Sarah (maybe CATES) from Kenninghall, Norfolk
