He married Jane Elizabeth (Lawless) Lamb, and had children Maria Ann Demartin, Elizabeth Mary Lamb, Nicholas Thomas Lamb, Patrick Joseph Lamb, Irene Margaret Lamb, Lily Madeline Lamb, William Laurence Lamb, Sarah "Sadie" Veronica Lamb, and Mary Bernice Lamb. Nicholas Lamb died at age 89 years old on July 13, 1959 in Ballarat, City of Ballarat County.
