Ossie Thomas' History: 1942 - 2005

Uncover new discoveries and connections today by sharing about people & moments from yesterday.
  • Introduction

Hello all! My name is Brandon Thomas and I am the oldest grandchild of Ossie and Ada Waters Thomas. My mother is Tonya Thomas Hall. My grandfather Ossie was a man who I saw sporadically yet somehow managed to leave a lasting impression on me. My mother often talked of how he was a successful business owner in Washington, D.C. and was always a go-getter. In his later years as I was attending college, we talked quite often and he always gave me an encouraging word. I often wish we could have spent more time together. My grandfather would have been a great-grandfather by now as I have a six year old daughter whose birthday is two days before his. Much love granddad from your big grandson, Brandon
