People we remember
Biographies are where we share about family & friends to connect with others who remember them.

Irene Muzet:
Uncle Phil, ( my father's brother, there were 10 siblings) lived with my Muset family for awhile. Before that time when I was a small child I remember him being married to Aunt Jeanie and living farther down Rt 36, not sure which town after Hazlet but before Earle N.Depot. After they divorced he so missed his daughter's terribly, us Muset kids tried to cheer him up but I think it saddened him more, Betty Ann, Victory, and Kim were missed by me too. Betty Ann is my age now 73 or 74. They moved to California. When I was a teenager, Uncle Phil fell asleep alone driving and went under a tractor trailer. His tongue was almost cut in half and was sewn back together. As a teenager I was the one who irrigated his tongue for him at home. I remember when he lived in an apartment in Keyport NJ. I remember my Dad and Uncle Phil arguing over if they were all Ukrainian descent or part Polish too. I was told my grandparents met on the ship coming over, true I don't know.
Allan Anderson:
Nephew - I Never Did Thank You Uncle Herb For Giving Me The Help You Gave Me At A Very Trying Time In My Life. You And Your Mother, My Granny Helped Me When I Needed It Most. I Am Sorry If I Let You Down. You Were A Good And Caring Man. So I Thank You Uncle Herb. Love, Your Nephew Allan
Robert Stetson:
Radio Row - As grade-school aged kids in Brooklyn we were allowed to cross just one street when we were playing (walking to school was the exception). However, we reasoned that riding the subway into Manhattan didn't count as crossing streets. Cortland Street had surplus stores with electronics and military stuff. (Surplus insect repellant could be used for great stink-bombs)! It was hard to keep our trip a secret when the two of us returned home carrying an old oscilloscope (not solid state in those days; just tubes).

Sonya Hardy:
Ex girlfriend - DiMarko and I met in college, his Senior year,my sophomore. We met through a mutual friend while out to dinner with her and a bunch of other school mates. Our love grew and after his graduation and my transferring to a new school we became closer than ever and planned on marriage.DiMarko was a phenomenal man,his accomplishments were, and still are stellar. He was always achieving and persevering through challenges, such as working while in school, pledging and holding down our relationship. He was well loved by most, especially my mother and my brother, who loved to drive his car. After I left Huntsville our relationship turned long distance but we saw each other often, either him sending for me,or traveling the miles to my home.He was the only boyfriend I had, including my ex husband,to call and sing to me,Stevie Wonders,"I just called to say I love you".Makes me cry EVERY time I hear it to this day.Long story short,we didn't get married,my fault, but got back in touch 20 years later, but our reunion was cut short by his transitioning. He will ALWAYS be in my heart,my soul,my love has never changed even after my marriage to another man.To show what type of sweet heart he had,he continued to call my Mom YEARS after my marriage. She'd always tell me when she heard from him.He also took the blame for our breakup even though it was mine.Forgiving, generous, comedic, genius, down to earth and loving is the least I can convey about this bright light which was DiMarko.
