Roger Ebert - RIP April 4th, 2013
Roger Joseph Ebert, born June 18th 1942 in Urbana Illinois, died today April 4th 2013 at the age of 70. Best known as a film critic, Roger was also a journalist and screenwriter who won a Pulitzer Prize in 1975.

Roger Ebert began his film reviews in the Chicago Sun-Times in 1967, and his fame grew quickly when he co-hosted At the Movies with Gene Siskel in the early 1980s. Ebert's career also includes a collection of over 20 books, co-writing various screenplays (including the 1970 Russ Meyer film cult classic Beyond the Valley of the Dolls), guest lecturer at the University of Chicago, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
