    Rudolph E. Mannetti, 88, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Summit of Plantsville. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Borrell) Mannetti. Born August 23, 1926 in Waterbury he was the son of the late Anthony Sr. and Josephine ( Albero) Mannetti. Rudolph retired from Scovill Manufacturing after 48 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War and received the Korean Service Medal and two bronze stars. He leaves numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Anthony Mannetti and two sisters, Edith Zarrella and Gloria Armbrust. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday 11 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Burial with military honors will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Southington Jaycee’s, P.O. Box 504, Southington CT, 06489.
