Ruth (Harris) Hockett was born on February 6, 1844 in Grant County, Indiana United States. She was married to Jacob Hockett in 1861, and they were together until Ruth's death on May 4, 1880. Ruth Hockett had children William S. Hockett, Frank Lesley Hockett, Harrey J. Hockett, Fredrick Arthur Hockett, and Bert Hockett.
