    The Argus, Melbourne. 4th August 1934. POPE.- On the 2nd August, 1934, at the Melbourne Hospital ( result of an accident ), Stanley Spencer, the beloved second son of Eva and Spencer Pope, of 14 Chatham road, Canterbury, and loving brother of Eric, Harry, Ivan and Lily. Aged 15 years.
