I strongly doubt you could find any man who was more "addicted" to Italian opera than Tom was! Neighbors would know when he was home as the many arias could be heard from the front windows of his Burnett Street home. His rare 78's never gathered dust, as he literally wore out many of those shallac discs with well worn needles:-). Tom should have been a stock holder in Scott tissue, such were the tears that would flow from his eyes during listening sessions! His desert island must haves were the arias Nessun Dorma from Puccinis Turandot, and Vesti La Giubba from Leon Cavello's Pagliacci.RIP dear friend, I know you are in a place of comfort and eternal love.
