  • Introduction

Tommy Sgandurra, quick with a smile and an absolute purveyor of instant side splitting antics...........his penchant for black humor knew no bounds, and God help those early hapless suitors that came a-callin for one of his sisters.........perched on the top stairwell looking down toward the front door to check the guy out, anything was possible............like tossing a paper airplane downstairs while exclaiming.......'Bonzai'!..........(the fellow was of Japanese descent). ....then there was the time he was walking past a church rectory, and observed the virgin Mary, which caused him to quip........"Mary on the half shell"........... resulting in side splitting laughter. Many times he and his friends would secretly follow his mother in the neighborhood as she went shopping...........seems some un-desirables were making life a bit un-comfortable with their taunts........that all ended in short order........Tom was a beautiful person inside as well as outwardly............his spirit and memory will continue in perpetuity..........he was as they say...............'good people'
