TIMOTHY HOLMAN REYNOLDS (1945-2010)
Timothy Holman Reynolds
THORNTON -- Timothy Holman Reynolds, 64, of Millbrook Road, died Jan. 5, 2010, at Laconia Center Genesis, Laconia, after a long illness.
He was born in Westchester, N.Y., Oct. 18, 1945 and was the adopted son of Libby Holman. He grew up in Stamford, Conn. He lived in Stamford, Conn., Thornton, Keene, Key West, Fla. and Jackson, Wyo., before returning to Thornton in 1997.
During his life he had been a gentleman farmer, owned a brush clearing business, was a Wyoming rancher, a volunteer fireman, a big rig truck driver, and a racecar driver. A high point in his life was fighting the Yellowstone National Park forest fires of 1987.
Family members include his wife, Gloria Kimball of Thornton; one daughter, Brooke Cheney of Winsted, Conn.; one son, Kyle Reynolds of Seymour, Tenn.; four grandchildren; one brother, Tony Reynolds of Sandia Park, N.M.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. Memorial services will Saturday, Jan. 23 at 1 p.m. in West Thornton United Methodist Church, Cross Road, West Thornton with the Rev. Shirley Marcroft, chaplain of Campton-Thornton Fire Department, officiating. Refreshments and fellowship following the memorial service at the Country Cow Restaurant, 57 Blair Road, Campton. A celebration of his life will also be held Saturday, July 31, at Kimball Farm, Millbrook Road, Thornton.
