Valda Jean (Mitting) Hunt Stapleton Johnson 1925 - 2014

Valda Jean (Mitting) Johnson was born on February 25, 1925 in Irymple, Mildura Rural City County, VIC Australia to William Thomas "Harold" Mitting and Flora Elaine (Howells) Mitting Griffiths, and had siblings Eric Ronald Mitting, Allan Mitting, Phyllis Elaine (Mitting) Mason, Ernest Frank Mitting, Evan Harold Mitting, and John Mervyn Thornton Mitting. She married Joseph Robert Johnson. She would also marry James Arthur Squire Stapleton, and they had a child Ann-Maree (Stapleton) Beitans. She would also marry Brian Lyle Hunt and they later divorced. They had children Peter David Brian Stapleton, Rodney John Stapleton, Denise Forrester, and Gary Stapleton. Valda Johnson died at age 89 years old on July 15, 2014, and was buried at Harkaway Cemetery in Harkaway, City of Casey County.
