The family had moved from Spencer Ohio in 1839. Viola born 15 Jun 1844 d 3 Mar 1908 Red Cloud NE. Viance b 9 Sep 1847 d 20 Jun 1929. Viance with help of older sister, Candace, wrote 'Pioneer Life in the Family of George Reid Emery.
