Mary was born 12-18-1881 in Shreves OH. She was the daughter of Samuel Henry Reisinger b. 10-21-184 York Co. PA d. 4-19-1936 Fayette Co. and Margaret Felix b. 2-26-1844 Cumberland Co. PA, married in Worster Wayne Co. OH. Margaret was the daughter of Jacob Felix and Mary Elizabeth Gross. Samuel Reisinger was the son of Wm. I Reisinger b 7-4-1823 and Mary Ann Hartman. Wm. I. was the son of Carl Reisinger who came to America in 1767 and settled with two borthers at Lexington MASS and served in the American Revolution and married a dau of General Boyer. Mary Irene Reisinger and Walter Griffin Brown had two sons, Louis Albert(submitter's grandfather) and Carl Herbert. Louis Albert married Kathryn Neff and had two children, Charles Brown and Sally Brown Cook and one step-son William Cooney from Kathryn's earlier marriage. Carl and wife Isabelle Moore had one son, Albert, who is being held by Mary in the photo. Photo taken at their farm on State Road 44 East of Connersville, which is now owned by Dennis Sherck.

Taken at the farm of Walter Griffin Brown and Mary Irene Reisinger Brown next to their home on East State Rd. 44, now owned by Dennis Sherck. These are my gr-gr-grandparents. Mary is holding their grandson Albert Brown, son of Carl and Isabelle Brown. Mary and Walter had two sons, Louis Albert Brown and Carl Brown. Louis was my grandfather. The grandson, Albert Brown, in this photo, has coached many college basketball teams throughout his career. Currently he is assistant coach for the Duke women's basketball team. Walter Griffin Brown is the son of Preston Brown and Florence Moore Brown. Preston was the son of Samuel Brown and Elizabeth Stanley Brown. Samuel ws born in Lebanon Co. PA and he was the son of Michael Brown and Mary Rudy Brown. Michael was also born in Lebanon Co. PA.
