    Following his father's fatal stroke he made the necessary decision to join the workforce getting a job despite he & his brothers workload on the farm growing immensely although the efforts kept their young siblings fed, clothed, housed, & together there were no hours left in the day for school so his 8th grade education would have to suffice despite these things he thrived in life becoming an owner operator in the trucking industry owning properties & houses as well becoming the family patriarch & passing on that same love, family dedication, & an immense sibling bond seen between he & his brothers & sisters that has noticeably carried on to his 3 children & their children as well leaving a legacy of love & closeness that will carry on & on. Thank you

    He was a veteran of the Korean War who was honorably discharged from the Army upon his return for fibbing about his age to serve his country in a time of war.
