WILLIAM A. FIKE JR. Marketing director
William Arthur Fike Jr., 50, of Highland died in an airplane crash near Redlands Airport.
A native of Bingham Canyon, Utah, Fike lived in Highland for 11 years. He had worked as a marketing director for Aura Systems for five years. He was a Mason, and he served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War as a fighter pilot, retiring as a major.
Survivors include his wife, Brad ye Concoranand Brucest Long Beach; a daughter, Kristi Jones of Redlands; his mother, Melba of Midvale, Utah.; and three sisters, Pati Messersmith of Long Beach, Fredrika Cowdell of Arizona, and Dorothy Davis of Midvale.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703
Brookside Ave., Redlands. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at March Air Force Base Chapel.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area 3, 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside.
