David Skelton
As a USAF veteran who served between 1987 and 1989, I take pride in my resilience and commitment to my country. Born and raised in the heart of San Bernardino, CA, I am a product of my community's values of perseverance and unity. Since December 2015, I've been blissfully married to Ewanivaldo Skelton. Our partnership has brought a beautiful harmony and richness to my life, further shaping my character. My experiences and journeys have made me who I am - an individual who takes inspiration from the past to navigate the challenges and joys of the present.
As of June 2023, all my family members are living. My mother, Carole Skelton, has been dealing with health issues, bravely undergoing three surgeries in the past 13 months to repair her broken shoulder, back, and hip. Compounding these physical challenges is her battle with Alzheimer's. It's a tough road, but she navigates it with courage. My father, Frankie Skelton, on the other hand, enjoys good health. His secret? Regular exercise. He religiously walks the full 18 holes of the golf course twice a week, proving that age is just a number. I have a brother, Jeffrey Skelton, who is also in the pink of health, standing as a pillar of support in our family. My husband, Ewanivaldo, affectionately known as "Gio," is a two-time cancer survivor. Since 2015, he's had a clean bill of health, demonstrating the resilience that's become a trademark of our family.

My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!
