He was my brother
Bill was surprisingly tall (our parents were short but uncles on both sides were tall). Bill was funny, even during the just-shy-of-5yrs period during which he dealt with the effects of leukemia and it's difficult treatments. During one of Bill's numerous hospitalizations, he'd has us rig a clear bag with water/fish to hang with his intravenous bags causing his medical team to do a doubletake.
