He had siblings John, Kathleen, Mary, Daniel and Theresa. William was active in Boy Scouts and 4-H and the Ralston Fire Company. He was my brother
Bill was surprisingly tall (our parents were short but uncles on both sides were tall). Bill was funny, even during the just-shy-of-5yrs period during which he dealt with the effects of leukemia and it's difficult treatments. During one of Bill's numerous hospitalizations, he'd has us rig a clear bag with water/fish to hang with his intravenous bags causing his medical team to do a doubletake.
