William Leonard Norris, 62 of Prospect, Tennessee died on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama. Born Friday, September 30, 1949, in Huntsville, Alabama, he was the son of the late Leonard Norris and the late Flora Payne Norris. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Giles County Veterans Alliance. He enjoyed his grandchildren and loved watching them play baseball, softball, and basketball. Surviving are his wife: Cecile Norris of Prospect, TN, daughters, Michelle McNatt of Elkmont, AL and Leslie Panno of Hazel Green, AL, brother, Thomas Norris of New Market, AL, sister, Pauline Jarrett of New Market, AL, and grandchildren: Brittany Williams, Krysten McNatt, Jimmy Panno, and Sofia Panno. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Cantrell and Bro. Scott Pepper officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery, Hazel Green, AL. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
