    He was a family Man, he loved his Wife and his child, hard worker, didn't meet a stranger he would give you the shirt off his back. And, would feed any child that came to his house. He loved life & his Dad. He taught his daughter Lashunda how to change oil in a car. She always followed her Dads foot steps he couldn't walkout the house she loved & respected her Dad. Daddy's little girl always & forever.

In 1941, in the year that Zebedee Davis was born, on June 25th, President Roosevelt signed Executive Order 8802, prohibiting racial discrimination in the defense industry. EO 8802 was the first federal action to prohibit employment discrimination - without prejudice as to "race, creed, color, or national origin" - in the U.S. Civil Rights groups had planned a march on Washington D.C. to protest for equal rights but with the signing of the Order, they canceled the March.
