Robert Edward Leibner is the son of Edward Rudolph Heinrich Leibner (1889-1957) and Mabel Helen Young (1893-1961). He was born on October 3, 1918 in Washington DC. He had a sister, Charlotte M Leibner (1923-2012). He was a United States Air Force veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.
