Leo Davis Erles Sr. of Vincentown, Burlington County, NJ was born on February 24, 1918 at Chatsworth in Chatsworth to Albert Francis Erles and Hester Anne (Taylor) Erles. Leo Erles had siblings Arthur Herman Erles, Alberta (Erles) Horner, Mary Alice (Erles) Frazier, Charles Taylor Erles, and Esther Erles. He married Mildred (Frazier) Passalacqua in 1940 and they later divorced in 1947. They had a child Leo Davis Erles Jr.. He married Taneko (Hino) Erles in 1950 in Osaka, Osaka Japan, and they were married until Leo's death on November 1, 1992. They had children Alice (Erles) Reshamwala, George Erles, and Roy Leslie Erles.
