This is a picture of my father in his marine dress uniform, I'm not sure exactly when the photo was taken, I'm assuming that it was at least two years before I was born.

It had to bee taken one of two places. California and if he lived on the east cost it would have been Parris island, South Carolina
I have some Johnsons in my line. My mom was one. She was adopted at a young age. But I have this Leon W Johnson in my line. I was born in 1968. I didn't grow up with my dad. Only my mom.

Leon Lambert Johnson was born on July 14, 1947 to parents Charles Thomas Johnson (1912-1956) and Maybelle Elizabeth Weisenberger (1918-1978). He had siblings Lorraine Elizabeth Johnson (1941-1990) and Charles Arthur Johnson (1943-2000). He served as a Sgt. in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Okinawa during the war. Leon served from September 2, 1966 until his discharge on February 28, 1970.
