A Nutmegger from Bridgeport
This was the leadoff photo in an album that Bertha Allen rescued in New Mexico. She asked what to do with it. I offered some counsel, and she kindly put it in the mail and made me its curator. I'll be glad to pass it on in my turn, to anybody with interest and/or a family connection.

Some images include cryptic identification; most don't. They appear to date from within yelling distance of the start of the twentieth century. This one bears the logo of its professional photographer in Bridgeport, Connecticut. As I figure out more connections, I'll return to these entries to update them.

Barbara Gosse has other Seeley & Warnock portraits in her Smith Marsh Card Burgess tree in Ancestry and suggests that this could be "one of the Burgess boys."

Who? When? Who would like to curate the album?
Date & Place: at Seeley & Warnock, photographers in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut United States
