Amos Leroy Gregson
In Cut and Shoot, Tx, as Fire Chief he started the first volunteer fire department. In Reklaw, he was City Marshal and Constable for 30 years. Despite the small size of Reklaw, it had its fair share of violent crimes during his service to the community. Nana and I often worried about his safety and would sit and listen to the police scanner waiting for his safe return, especially when he was being shot at and during the early days of the Waco siege in 1993.
