Ann Holt
I have an old studio photograph of Ann HOLT which was taken at the S. S. Vose & Son Studio in Skowhegan, ME in the 1890’s. Ann appears to be in her 30’s or 40’s at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I believe that this is a photograph of Annie J. LEWIS HOLT who was born in 1858 in Canaan, ME, and married Manley Dexter HOLT (1851-1921 born in Canaan, ME the son of Dexter and Adalaid HOLT) on 9 Oct 1875 or 1876 in Cornville, ME.

The couple had one child, a son Carlton “Carl” Manley HOLT (1880-1939) born in Skowhegan, ME. Her husband Manley died in 1921 in Hinckley, ME. Ann died in 1950 and is buried in the Southside Cemetery in Skowhegan, ME. Her son Carlton married Bertha Estella WILLIAMS on 25 Sept 1900 in Fairfield, ME. Carlton’s home at the time was in Clinton, ME and his wife was from Canaan, ME.

I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photograph can be returned to its rightful place, with family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.

Thanks,
Shelley
