Arthur Uscher was born on November 8, 1918 in Bronx, New York to parents Max Uscher (1891-1969) and Rebecca Reisel Rivel Katz (1896-1979). He had brothers Milton (1917-2008) and William Uscher (1928-2015). He graduated from Syracuse University (Syracuse, New York, USA) with a Liberal Arts degree and was a member of Sigma Alpha Mu, Soccer, and the All University Peace Committee. Arthur married Anita Nusim (1917-2017) on October 27, 1940 in Washington DC. They had a son together.

My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!
