The Hansen family were living in Sherman County, Nebraska when Amelia was married in Clinton County, Iowa, where the family had settled when they first came to the United States. It may be possible that there were Hinrichsen or even Harmsen family members living in the Clinton County, Iowa area and that Amelia Hansen was living there when she met and married Otto Ferdinand Petersen.
