Castillo is a member of the band 'La Zena Nortena' and made headlines on September 27th 2021 when the Ector County Sheriff's Office reported that he was arrested near El Paso for the sexual assault of a child. According to the Ector County Sheriff Office said that on September 11th 2021 a juvenile was given a forensic interview at the 100 block of N. Knox about the assault. Castillo was identified and arrested by U.S. Customs and Border nine days later on September 20th.

My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
