Description:
The stunning chapel St Michael d'Aiguilhe, Le Puy was build in 962 by Bishop Godescalc and deacon Trianus, and was later expanded in the 12the century. Prior to 962, this mountain was utilized by the Romans who worshipped Mercury, and before the Romans, it is believed that earlier cultures worshiped here.
