Charles Conklin DeBevoise was born to parents Henry Victor DeBevoise (1890-1960) and Laura M. Bossie DeBevoise (1896-1944). He was born on May 19, 1924 in New Haven, Connecticut and had an older brother, Edward William DeBevoise (1923-1987). Charles joined the United States Military on October 23, 1942 and was diligent about his education graduating from Aldrich High School (Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island, USA) in 1943. He went on to graduate from Providence College (Providence, Rhode Island) in 1949 and was a 1953 graduate of Boston University Law School (Boston, Massachusetts, USA). After graduating from law school, he married Dolores Annette Anderson DeBevoise Brunt (1935-2021) in 1954 in Seekonk, Bristol, Massachusetts, USA. The couple had children together.

My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!
