Charles W. Voeglein
I have an old studio photograph of Charles VOEGLEIN of Baltimore, MD which was taken at the Perkins Studio in Baltimore, MD. Charles appears to be in his 20’s at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Charles and his family:

Charles W. VOEGLEIN was b. Oct 1864 in Maryland to Christopher VOEGLEIN (b. 1824) and Katie ARNOLD VOEGLEIN (b. 1827). It appears that the couple had 6 children as of 1870 including Christopher, Frances, Anna, Charles, Benjamin, and Catherine, all 16 to 3 months of age. In 1900 Katie and Charles were living next-door to Christopher VOEGLEIN (who I believe is Katie’s son and a brother to Charles) and his wife Mary and 4 children in Baltimore, MD. Katie was 72 years old, a widow, born in Germany and immigrated to the USA in 1853, had 7 children/ 4 living, Charles is single, age 35 and a policeman.

During the 1910 census of Baltimore, MD Charles has a wife, Lula E. VOEGLEIN age 34 and his mother Katherina A. VOEGLEIN living with him. Charles died in Jul 1922 and is buried in the Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.

I am hoping to get this photograph to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
