COLIN HOLBROOK OBITUARY
HOLBROOK, Colin George Colin George Holbrook, age 75, beloved Husband, father and grandfather passed away at Medical City Hospital Wednesday October 28, 2015. He was born December 31, 1939, the first child of George and Emily Holbrook in St Albans, England. His formative years were spent in Leeds while attending University to receive his degree in Chemical Science. He enjoyed the challenges that came with being an Engineer and worked in England and Spain before meeting and falling in love with his soul mate - Judith. They left England for career opportunities via Canada to the United States in Carrollton, Texas. Through his many achievements with Lennox Industries he provided a wonderful life for the people he loved. He particularly enjoyed his Lennox experience that brought him to France from 1999 thru 2001. Here Judith, his wife and their constant companion Lucky walked the golf courses outside of Dijon, France. One of Colin's favorite past times was to play Golf, a sport he could find time to unwind with friends and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. He loved to travel the world with his wife Judith and he would bring his parents Emily and George along for the ride. He was proud of bringing them to visit the United States multiple times including Disney World and traveled to Australia as well. Even with all of these wonderful vacations and explorations, he called the United States home. He loved this country and knew it was a privilege to be a United States citizen. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judith Holbrook, his daughter Patricia Saddington, his step son Roy Saddington, (wife Leslie), and his 4 grandchildren, Barry Saddington, Kosta Saddington, Christo Saddington and Despina Saddington. His cousins who reside in England Joan Adams, Stephanie Ballard and Pat Sween. His greatest joys were to be with his wife Judith and their beloved dog Sophie, he loved dancing, playing golf, Bridge and cooking unforgettable meals over the years for his family. He will be missed by everyone who knew him, he made a difference in all of our lives for the better, he was a beautiful and kind man.
