Curtis Allen Shoemake was born to Robert Allen Shoemake and Leona Price. He has lived in Grapeland, Latexo, Alvin, and Galveston TX
On December 13th 1975, when Curtis was 18, he married Vivian V. Adams, also age 18, in Brazoria Texas. They were married for just over 5 years and divorced on January 13th, 1981.
Two years later, on April 23rd 1983, Curtis married Amy L. (Stanton) Shoemake and they had one child together. They later divorced when Curtis was 31 and Amy was 28 on March 28, 1989.
A few months later on December 30th 1989 he then married 22 year old Dina Michele Liljequist Shoemake.
In 2018, Curtis was arrested for the disappearance of his last ex-wife Dina in 2000, and later charged with her murder. See the newspaper story Palestine Herald-Press May 16 2018 By Penny lynn Webb below for more details.
It seems that as of Jan 2021, the case is still moving slowly. Dina's body has not been found and Curtis has not yet been convicted. See Curtis Shoemake Verdict
Last updated in May of 2022, there is a Facebook page "Justice for Dina Shoemake" stating that "my mother has been missing and we need someone's help". The mystery continues.
There is still a report about Dina on the "Missing!" website. Missing! Last Updated 9/2021 and the last update on the case was in July of 2022. Dina hadn't been found and Curtis was still a suspect in the case. See VANISHED: Dina Michele Shoemake.

I'm a Founder of AncientFaces and support the community answering questions & helping members make connections to the past (thus my official title of Founder & Content and Community Support ). For me, it's been a labor of love for over 20 years. I truly believe with all of my heart that everyone should be remembered for generations to come.
I am 2nd generation San Jose and have seen a lot of changes in the area while growing up. We used to be known as the "Valley of Heart's Delight" (because the Valley was covered with orchards and there were many canneries to process the food grown here, which shipped all over the US) - now we have adopted the nickname "Capital of Silicon Valley" and Apple, Ebay, Adobe, Netflix, Facebook, and many more tech companies are within a few miles of my current home in San Jose (including AncientFaces). From a small town of 25,000, we have grown to 1 million plus. And when you add in all of the communities surrounding us (for instance, Saratoga, where I attended high school, living a block from our previous Mayor), we are truly one of the big cities in the US.
