Dessie was the daughter of Grover and Lula Basham Shepherd. She was the wife of Robert S. Snider or Bob Snider. She was born in Mulberry, Crawford Co. Arkansas. Later the family moved to Oklahoma near Bixby area. Dessie married in 1940 and passed away in 1950. She is buried in Bixby Cemetery, Bixby, Ok.
