Donald Hobert Graham, 1937 - 2021 age 84, of Fort Ashby, W.Va

Donald Hobert Graham, 84, of Fort Ashby, W.Va., died April 30, 2021, at UPMC Western Maryland, Cumberland.
Born Jan. 18, 1937, at his family farm house, in Foreman, he was the son of the late Connie B. Graham and Lucille (Groves) Graham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Iva (Judy) Groves, and a sister, Patricia (Graham) Turner.
Donald was the class president of his Petersburg High School graduating class of 1955. He was very active in the 4-H Club and became West Virginia All-Star. He also participated in football, the Varsity Club, FFA, and the Honor Society. He graduated from West Virginia University in 1959 with a degree in chemical engineering, and later obtained his professional engineering certificate.
Donald is survived by his wife, Annalee (Hardy) Graham; three sons, Gregory Graham and wife, Bonny, Anchorage, Alaska, Kevin Graham, Lahmansville, and Randall Graham, Gresham, Ore.; as well as five grandchildren.
During his working career, he was employed as a consulting engineer at Sohio Chemical Petrochemicals, of Lima, Ohio, Hercules, Inc., of Pinto, and Salt Lake City, Utah, CH2MHill/ Black Crow and Eidsness, of Gainesville, Fla., OMI, CGC, and PSG, of Huston, Texas.
Donald was National Council Engineering Examiners certified and a registered professional chemical engineer. He was also a Diplomat in the American Academy of Engineers and a Certified Environmental Specialist. He holds numerous process patents in the U.S. and foreign countries.
Donald volunteered to work with the Boy Scouts of America in all the many places and states he lived in. He was the last living charter member of Short Gap Lions Club, in which he was actively involved, until his health required him to retire.
Donald was a Methodist by faith and attended Trinity United Methodist Church, in Fort Ashby.
There will be a memorial service on June 3, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the Lahmansville United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Ann Harrison. Family and friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service.
Inurnment will be at the Lahmansville Cemetery following the service.

I'm a Christian, and I'm a daughter of Allan B. Holbrook, now in heaven. My married name is Debby Stevens.
My parents, Allan and Marie, were devout Christians, and had 10 children. They were both school teachers, but Mom quit teaching at public school after marriage. But both Mom and Dad home-schooled us all - starting when I was in 1st grade - that's when they came to the decision to home-school us. Dad earned an income through being an English teacher here in Traverse City, for man years. Dad started some Bible meetings that took place in the homes of friends of ours and in our own. He was the main teacher in it, and it was in a discoursing style - he would talk about spiritual things with the fathers of the families, each time, and all the children of the families would sit and listen to it all.
